CREATIVE SCHOOLS - please see our photo gallery for our photographs

Creative Schools is a flagship initiative of the Creative Ireland Programme to enable the creative potential of every child. Creative Schools is led by the Arts Council in partnership with the Department of Education and Skills and the Department of Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht.

The Creative Schools initiative supports our school in putting the arts and creativity at the heart of our pupil's lives.   This initiative provides opportunities for our pupils to build their artistic and creative skills; to communicate, collaborate and stimulate their imaginations; to be inventive and to harness their curiosity.

It will empower our pupils to develop, implement and evaluate arts and creative activity in school and stimulate additional ways of working that reinforce the impact of creativity on our pupil's learning, development and well-being.

We have received €5,000 in funding for this initiative and over the next two years we look forward to working with Tunde Toth (Our Creative Associate) to implement and develop the programme to support our school and its pupils.
